Privacy
No account, no ads and no tracking of people. Here is everything the site does with information about you.
The short version
- You can read and use everything here without giving us anything.
- There are no analytics cookies and no advertising or tracking scripts.
- Launch news by email is opt-in. If you sign up, your address is stored with Kit, our email service, and you can unsubscribe any time.
- The certificate maker, the search and the theme switch all work inside your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us.
Launch news by email
The sign-up form on the home page is the only place the site asks for anything, and it is optional. If you use it, your email address is sent to Kit (kit.com), which stores it and sends the emails, tagged “First Sajdah”. We use it only to tell you when a new part of the site opens. We never sell or share it.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. To have your address deleted, email hello@firstsajdah.com.
To keep out automated sign-ups, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the request without cookies used for tracking.
No tracking
There are no analytics cookies, no advertising, no social-media pixels and no third-party trackers. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics later, it is cookieless: it counts page views in aggregate and does not follow anyone from page to page or site to site.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, to deliver the page. We do not use them to identify anyone.
On your device
If you choose light or dark, that choice is saved in your browser’s storage on this device only. Nothing else is stored.
If someone else uses your phone or computer and you would rather they did not see what you read, a private or incognito window keeps pages out of your history. Clearing history afterwards helps, but it may not remove every trace, so if your safety is at risk, use a device the other person cannot reach, such as a friend’s phone or a library computer.
